AlumniFunder, a crowdfunding platform for university networks that helps create a deeper relationship between current students and amongst alumni, recently launched at Georgetown, Princeton, and Berkeley, and will be coming to a school near you soon.  The company supports collegiate entrepreneurship and creativity by giving alumni a kickstarter-like platform by which they can support innovative projects and ultimately invest in startups created by students and other alumni at their alma mater. Whether it be for a new science lab, a documentary film, or a software company, the startup wants to help demystify the angel-fundraising process so that great ideas have access to the capital they need to get off the ground.
