What’s your historical Los Angeles and New York connection?
I was born in Brentwood, and raised in Simi Valley, and I’ve spent the last year in New York to start my company, Oluvus!

Describe your experience in LA.
My friends are so mellow, it’s just fun to get together and enjoy each other’s company. There’s a lot of space, space to entertain and enjoy each other.

Describe your experience in NYC.
I don’t remember. (Kidding)

I’ve made some great friends. NYC is special, it’s wonderfully chaotic. It’s taxing. But that’s why I like splitting my time!

What was the biggest challenge of moving from LA to NYC?
I moved from San Francisco actually, but I split time so it’s not that challenging. Finding an apartment was the toughest.

How can NYC and LA best engage with each other?
Build a Hyperloop!

Favorite LA secret spot
I like flying my drone-like helicopter around the CalTech campus.

Favorite NYC secret spot
Sparky and Darla’s in the East Village.

What’s on your playlist right now?
