Ever wondered what it would be like to live in multiple cities, on your own terms, with a community of friends? Common is rethinking urban housing by creating a network of homes where becoming a member means you get to focus less on the little things and more on living life.
Applying for membership at Common can be done online from anywhere, as can selecting your room and submitting monthly payment. You select the tier that works for you, anywhere from 3 months to a year, and can move freely from one location to another during your time at Common. Included in membership is a fully furnished home, your own private room, in-home laundry, all utilities, amenities, and shared supplies, and weekly programming led mainly by other members of the community. Traditions include Sunday potlucks, book club, cook-offs and group outings to places like Daybreaker and Brooklyn Bowl. Common currently has two homes open in Brooklyn, with a third opening in Williamsburg this May, and plans to expand to multiple markets by the end of 2016.
