Chineasy: London

Chineasy is the new and creative way to understand China’s culture and language. The Kickstarter funded project provides the first step in learning Chinese by recognising characters through simple illustrations. Shaolan Hsueh, founder of the project, realised the difficulty of comprehending Chinese characters when she was teaching her children the language. After spending years trying to find a fun and easy way to teach them, as an entrepreneur she realised the solution was to create her own method: Chineasy. Check out Shaolan’s Ted Talk o the topic here.

Chineasy works on a building block principle. After learning the base characters, students start the build up to new words, characters, and phrases. Shaolin hopes to create more communication between the Eastern and Western countries, and Chineasy is the first step in an exciting journey.
